These were some of my favorite shoes from the Versace Spring/Summer 2009 collection. My favorite part of these shoes was….the sole! Versace craftily used a mirrored runway to show them off. I thought that the yellow soles were awesome, even if it is a totally stolen concept made famous by Louboutin. They perfectly complimented the electric blues and yellows in the show. The shoes weren't over the top or overly loud in color or concept this season, surprisingly.
I love the bejeweled heels on these shoes.
These shoes were definitely the most interesting. The heels are lucite. They were unlike the others in that the were wedges with the Versace Medusa logo embedded. I'm not sure I like the teeth-y straps, and the lucite wedge dresses down the shoe, making it more suitable for poolside than a dinner or evening affair. Overall, the Versace was more subdued in this collection, thus (in my opinion) more wearable.
