Modern, sexy, and utterly cool are the best words to describe the Proenza Schouler Fall 2009 shoe collection. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are the designers behind this impressive collection. As many of you may now know, I usually don't like bulky shoes, but for some reason these work for me. I like the over sized, protruding platform, especially in a season where most designers are doing the mini platform. And the pointed toe on these shoes maintains a femininity to their form. I wouldn't wear the two pairs of shoes with the stacked, square heel, (not my style) but I appreciate the design. These shoes are strictly fall/winter which is distinctive when more and more designers are making shoes that can be worn year round.
