The Luella Spring/Summer 2010 Shoes debuted at the runway show yesterday had a distinctive mid-fifties look. Luella Bartley used fifties inspired prints, like polka dots, and Leave it to Beaver details like floral bouquet and bow embellishments for this shoe collection. There were mo modern cut out details or platform soles, just simple pumps and sling backs. Even the mid-sized heels were reminiscent of the era.
The collection is pretty in a conservative, demure way and I love it! In a season filled with big platforms and incredibly high heels, these shoes offer a nice stylish alternative.
