An appropriate analogy for the Spring 2009 season was the safe-to-wild ratio from Alber Elbaz for Lanvin, which helped close Paris Fashion Week and settle the debate on whether to be, to put it plainly, 'conservative' or 'fun' in our economic climate. He pulled out a little of each. Although, he was more conservative with his handbag collection.
These are definitely on the conservative side, especially compared to other shows we have seen this season. I do like the textured leather with the rhinestone ankle strap.
I like the heels on this shoe, paired with the satin material and the silk ankle bow. These are beautiful evening shoes, but still on the somewhat conservative side.
Here, the designer is getting more artistic and "statement" shoes emerge. the alligator print looks gorgeous with the bejeweled heels. These booties are perfect for someone who wants something classic and trendy chic at the same time.
Wow, these are serious center of attention shoes. Gorgeous colors in the majorly embellished shoe. These shoes are so overt, they would look best with something understated.

Though I only have an image of these from the back, you can tell they are on the wild side, and I'm sure I love them. As you know I'm a jeans and heels girl, and I think these would look gorgeous with skinny jeans that have a touch of shimmer.
