Givenchy is the hot, new label right now, and designer Riccardo Tisci is at the point where he's proved himself in ready-to-wear, and now he's hitting his stride in couture. The shoes from this Couture 2010 collection are very distinctive, with designs like the open ankle boot with T-strap detail above and a very bright sequined boot. The ankle boots were done in various colors and remind me a bit of the Prada Fall 2009 boots, with the random strap detail. There is a T strap mule that's somewhat boring. The sequined ankle boot (hard to see in the pic) appears to have a very high platform (will post when I get a better pic). I don't really see what's couture about these shoes. Fall 2010 maybe?
