Apparently Karl Lagerfeld was inspired by rustic couture for this spring 2010 collection, and while it worked well with the clothing and handbag collections, the shoes left much to be desired. If there is anything worse than a wedge shoe, it's the clog. I'm sorry, but couture and clog just doesn't work. Karl debuted various styles of clog, some embellished and some very simple. He also had a very plain boot. And lastly he had some beautiful, flower embellished pumps and velvet, ivory heeled sandals. The lovely shoes, however, were diminished due to the dirt runway that the models walked down and soiled the shoes.
The Chanel shoes 2010 spring collection had a couple of stunningly beautiful shoes, but the rest were hideous and an insult to the famous label. Do you think Coco ever wore a clog?
