Can you tell the difference between these two shoes? One is the Alexander McQueen Motorcycle Jacket ankle boot and the other is Steve Madden's Seryna ankle boot and it's a fabulous look-a-like. I'm so thankful we have Steve Madden, especially during a recession. His shoes are great designs, great quality and reasonably priced. This is his super cool Vipperr shoe and was inspired by Lady Gaga (the outrageously dressed pop singer). It is black leather and has a 5 inch heel, and a 1 inch platform. $130 at Steve Madden .

I have to hand it to Steve Madden, he designs really cool shoes at a reasonable price. I have been buying his heels for the last ten years. My taste is getting more expensive these days, but if I want a new cute shoe and don't have alot of cash, I head to Steve Madden. His Fall 2009 collection is available for pre-order and this "Bevan" zippered shoe is one of them. It is from his more stylish Steven collection. I have had my eye on the Balmain Studded Crystal Sandals since I saw Beyonce wearing them a few weeks ago. However, since we aren't in the same tax bracket, I couldn't get them myself. So much to my delight, I discovered Steve Madden made a very convincing look a like for a fraction of the cost, the Brigght shoe. These shoes are crystal and silver stud covered strappy sandals and have a hip, edgy style. They can be played down with a LBD, or up the rocker look with black leggings. Either way, this is a cool shoe. The Balmain sandals (left image) are $2,085, but the Steve Madden's (on the right) are a reasonable $130. Who would have thought we would ever be able to wear boots during the spring and summer? Cut out boots like these are made specifically for warmer weather, and will be an ongoing trend throughout this summer and into fall. These Steve Madden shoes are the Sallina cut out boot, and I really like how the strappy cut out exposes the entire front of the foot and ankle. I just love this fun and funky Steve Madden triumph shoe. It comes in black and creme also, but the purple is my favorite. Its soft suede has all the slouchy, boho appeal of the omnipresent ankle boot, but with cut outs at the vamp and toe to add a sexy little kick. They have a 4 inch heel. Available at Endless $109.
