In February 2010 Pasquale Fabrizio, the shoe designer often referred to as "the shoe cobbler to the stars", will debut his glass slipper collection. Mmmmk. I'm not sure a shoe is a good place for glass details. The asking price for these exclusive shoes is $7,500, and Fabrizio defends the high cost by explaining the shoes have 24 carat gold bead details and Murano glass, a glass blown in Italy that usually contains various colors and patterns. I still think the cost is ridiculous, I mean, how many gold beads are on the shoe exactly? Also, I have Murano glass stemware and it's not that expensive. Cost aside, the shoe itself is nothing special. I'd rather have a pair of Loubies.
