The above picture of these Manolo Blahnik shoes isn't the best, but the front of the shoe has two hearts that rest side by side on the upper foot when the shoes are worn. Love it! Manolo rarely strays outside of elegant and beautiful, but fairly simple designs, so it's a treat to see something so whimsical from the famous shoemaker. The rest of the collection features very flattering and sophisticated designs. Making shoes that flatter a woman's feet and legs are part of his signature style, it was he who brought back the stiletto heel in 1974. I like the whole collection, but the black and white bootie is FAB!

The Manolo Blahnik Shoes for Fall 2009 are pretty and sophisticated, which is very refreshing, especially since the season will be overflowing with chunky platforms and overtly bold designs. I really like some of the bold platforms, but Manolo offers something different.

Genius shoe designer, Manolo Blahnik, has put out a beautiful spring and summer shoe collection. This shoe, the Manolo Blahnik Cage Pony slide is one of my favorites. It is a unique design with a simple mule resolving into leather net lace. It has a 4.5 inch heel. Available at Bergdorf Goodman, $945.

Manolo Blahnik receives the Walk of Style Award. For those females who might feel that spending $700 to $1000 for a pair of fabulous Manolo Blahnik shoes is beyond their financial means, the designer has a simple suggestion. Don’t try to be Carrie Bradshaw, with hundreds of pairs and no money in the bank.

"This is my philosophy. It’s like funny, it’s stupid, but maybe it makes sense. I think women should buy one pair, just one pair, and that will last a long time. Invest in that one pair. This is the one thing people can do."
