OK, I'll admit I kind of liked the brand Ed Hardy when they first came out and there were just a few of his designs on boots and t-shirts. Then it was everywhere, on all kinds of shoes, handbags, jeans, scarves...and not just in department stores, I saw a huge table full of the brands goods in Costco. Then that loser dad from Kate plus 8 started wearing the stuff everywhere and that was the tipping point. Now the label is probably the cheesiest on the planet.

And apparently, I'm not alone in this opinion. Case in point, very similar Ed Hardy boots were sold last year for almost $400 and now they retail for $73. I know because I wrote a post about them. The adorable Juicy couture boots that I bought for myself are also on sale again this year, yet they are still selling for the $197 I paid for them last year.

Who knew Ed Hardy made dress shoes? I didn't, but as you can see, he does. I like Ed Hardy designs for when I'm going for a cool, trendy look. These shoes are a little young for me, but I would have loved them a few years ago. Especially the orange or yellow ones. These shoes are patent leather with a 4 inch heel, and a .5 inch platform, so they will feel like a comfortable 3.5 inch heel. Available at zappos.com , $165.

The best winter boots, in my opinion at least. As you can tell I love the decorated and embellished boots, but plain Uggs are good boots also. I just bought the Juicy boots and they are so incredibly comfortable. You can just slip them on without socks and your feet will be nice and toasty. I need an everyday boot that I can just slip on and go, that's why I choose the boots below, for style, comfort and convenience.
