I must find a way to get these Balmain shoes. While the brand is seriously overpriced, I have to admit their designs are the height of style. This shoe is suede and metal mesh with stud detail. The glittery silver mesh net sits loosely on top of the foot, reflecting light for optimal eye catching appreciation. The bronze mesh at the ankle is also loose, giving the shoe more fluid movement. Balmain shoes for the upcoming Spring and Summer 2010 are just as fabulous as expected. The studded sandal above with the mesh detail is an imaginative and unique design, sure to be a sell out. I'm certainly going to try and get my hands on a pair. The tribal sandals are also great, and while I usually don't like anything close to a gladiator sandal, the open toe tribal/gladiator shoe is fabulous.

These are the latest Balmain shoes now available for the public and I must say they are fierce. I could possibly see myself wearing these with skinny jeans and a simple T, the shoes being the focal point, but anything else would make the look way out of my age-appropriate dress range.

They are the Balmain Crystal Leopard Flap Boots from the Balmain fall 2009/ 10 collection.  Very similar to the Balmain Suede Buckle Boots with dark, matte suede, glam-rock style; these however, have an overlapping shaft covered in a crystal embossed leopard pattern. The boots are a pull-on style with zipper and have a slightly pointed toe. They have a 4.25 inch tapered suede covered heel and a .75 inch covered platform. Once again, the Europeans get the cooler shoes than we do in the US. These fabulous Balmain Multi Buckle Boots weren't picked up by our US luxury stores. Net a Porter got the Balmain zippered boot, but they passed on these. At least we can order them online.

FINALLY! Net a Porter has gotten their Fall shoe collections in, however, they aren't up on the site yet for sale. I'm assuming they are working on it considering most other on-line stores have theirs out. Based on this preview, they are getting some fabulous shoes. The blck, flame looking, cut out shoe is Guiseppe Zanotti, and it retails for about $1,500 plus. The zippered boot, as we already covered, is Balmain, and about $2,382. the fishnet looking shoe with the cut out front is Jimmy Choo, and about $1,550. I guess these designers are counting on the recession ending pretty soon.

This Balmain boot is going to be THE shoe for fall and winter and I'm sure it will have serious celebrity following. I absolutely love the rocker chic look it exudes. These boots are slip on and have a somewhat loose fit. They are black suede and have a half inch covered platform and a 4.75 inch heel. Love it! I have had my eye on the Balmain Studded Crystal Sandals since I saw Beyonce wearing them a few weeks ago. However, since we aren't in the same tax bracket, I couldn't get them myself. So much to my delight, I discovered Steve Madden made a very convincing look a like for a fraction of the cost, the Brigght shoe. These shoes are crystal and silver stud covered strappy sandals and have a hip, edgy style. They can be played down with a LBD, or up the rocker look with black leggings. Either way, this is a cool shoe. The Balmain sandals (left image) are $2,085, but the Steve Madden's (on the right) are a reasonable $130.
