Anna Sui had an obvious theme with her Spring/Summer 2010 shoes - butterflies. She took the gladiator sandal and made it into a giant butterfly, giving the shoe a more feminine feel. I'm not a fan of the gladiator sandal, period, so this shoe just doesn't do it for me. However, if I did like the gladiator sandal, this version is cuter than the Greek inspired original. Anna also designed a butterfly sandal with a wedge heel that is nice and will be pretty with a floaty summer dress. The flat sandals look like something you would find at a thrift shop, but I assume that's the point. Anna Sui has a huge fan following and this type of collection is probably a big hit with them, but her designs simply aren't my style.

Anna Sui has always created fashion that has a kind of quirky, funky vibe and this collection follows suit. There is absolutely nothing pretty or sexy about her shoes. They are "different". This collection was hit and miss for me.

I like these boots a lot, although it was a little strange seeing boots in a spring collection. The fringe has a lacy look that I like.

I also like these. They have a Hampton vibe.

This is one of the misses for me. The gold color is nice, but the Egyptian motif is definitely not my style.

The gladiator shoe just needs to go away.

This shoe would make anyones legs look stumpy. And they look uncomfortable.
