You guys know I love Alexander McQueen shoes, with one small detail he made this simple black pump a rocker chic accessory. I hope the brand keeps the skull part of his signature style, although it’s a bit telling of his thoughts and eerie considering his end.

I LOVE these Alexander McQueen shoes! So very cute/sexy. The ‘lips’ theme was one of the last McQueen was working on, and designed a fabulous clutch around the symbol, similar to what he did with the skull clutch.

These Alexander McQueen shoes are from his Spring and Summer 2010 collection and match his paint splatter ‘Faithful’ Tote. These boots are very much the McQueen style, something I hope the brand can maintain without their namesake. They are navy textile with paint splatters and have a 4.75 inch heel with a .75 inch platform. $1,089 at Zappos.

I didn't think it would happen, but Alexander McQueen shoes, in new styles, are still coming into stores, I'm assuming on back order. These sandals are new to Zappos, and they are down to only a few pairs left. They are multi colored sandals with his signature skull detail on the front. They have a 4 inch heel. $699 at Zappos.

I knew this was going to happen...as news of Alexander McQueens death spread yesterday his designs have been selling out across the globe. A big carrier of Alexander McQueen shoes and handbags sold out of over half of their inventory yesterday, including every single skull clutch that has been so popular. His website is down, with just a brief message about his death. His spring and summer 2010 collection was so fabulous to begin with (bottom picture), that upon his death, and therefore no more Alexander McQueen originals, it will be a one day sell out if they decide to follow through with production.There are some McQueen shoes available at Bergdorf, Neimans, and Zappos.

This is a damn sad day for the world of fashion. Alexander McQueen has died at just 40 years old, cause yet unknown. He was currently my all time favorite shoe designer, making the skull his signature and creating designs so outlandish, only Lady GaGa could pull them off. Only yesterday I wrote about one of his fabulous shoes, the heart peep toe pump. His designs were one of a kind and there is no one else like him. Sad.

UPDATE: Alexander hung himself in his home the day before his beloved mother's funeral. RIP.

Although this isn't a new design, it's one of my favorite Alexander McQueen shoes. The heart shaped peep toe is subtle, but very cute, and the bright yellow sole is a great contrast to the black patent leather.
