This is an example of why Christian Louboutin shoes are my absolute favorites. He can take a simple shoe and put a small detail on it to totally translate it into a statement shoe. This Spring and Summer 2010 season 50’s era inspired shoes are very popular, thanks in part to Mad Men, but the only designer who has pulled off the trend while keeping the shoes pretty and flattering is Louboutin.

This shoe could be worn for many occasions from church to a coctail party, and with the exposed heel slingback and small open toe, they are subtly sexy, yet classic.

Love, love, love these Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Fold down boots are the hottest look during cold weather seasons, and most of the high end shoe designers do a version of it every fall. I really like how this boot has a contrasting color liner when the boot is folded down. You can wear the boot laced all the way up, or as shown above.

As you know, I love shoes that have a little bling, so I love these Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Although they shimmer and shine, it’s still a pretty conservative shoe and could be worn with several looks from jeans to dresses, day or night.

You can always count on a little eye catching bling when Diego Dolcini shoes are presented. Typically most of the shoes in his collection are studded with various crystals and gemstone studs.

Lanvin shoes have been making their way up the designer shoes hierarchy in the last few years due to their chic designs and their unique embellishment details. For the Spring and Summer 2010 collection their were chain details on every shoe, with some around the ankle and some laying across the foot, like in this sandal.

This shoe is quilted leather with a black suede strap across the toes, and a black patent ankle strap. The thick gold chain hangs down the front of the foot and matches the gold buckle on the outside of the wrap around ankle strap. The platform sole is in leather and natural colored wood. These Christian Louboutin shoes came out in a few different colors this season, and I really like this color combination of ice blue and red. The black trim compliments the soft ice blue and makes the straps very eye catching (which I love). Also the red platform and heel bring the eyes down to the bottom of the shoe, better for viewing the fabulous Christian Louboutin signature red sole.

It’s been awhile since I’ve come across a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes I really like, but I absolutely love this one. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing this shoe on the like of Jennifer Aniston, who is always seen in Choo’s. This bootie is nude colored suede with natural colored, sparkling stone scattered across. Between the suede straps is nude colored mesh. It has an open toe, back heel zipper, a 4.75 inch heel and a .5 inch platform. $1,795 at Nordstrom.com
